"This is x-men the official game? You could have fooled me"

First off, if you are a X-men fan at all, do not play this game. If you are looking into it to learn about the third X-men movie, do not play this game. If you do, you will be very disappointed.

Graphics-1/10:

Maybe its just me, but this looks like a Playstation 1 game. Nothing stands out at all graphically.

Presentation-1/10:

Ah, the saving grace of most movie based games. You say to yourself," well, even though the game stinks, I can at least get some neat info on the movie and see some cool clips from it!." Well, not here you cant. What this game has is stupid barely animated stills, with talking over them. I know that its supposed to be clever, since the X-men are comics, but I mean come on. Why even get the handful of voice actors from the movie, no point.

Gameplay-3/10:

I give gameplay a 3 because even though it's terrible, you play through as 3 people, so 3 1's = 3

First theres Wolverine. He does what you expect, slashes and slashes and slashes some more. He can block and jump and go into this rage thing which basically serves no point.

Next is Iceman, who plays like Star Fox 64. He flys on a stream of ice(wouldn't the ice just fall?)and shoots ice bolts that home(sound familiar). It even controls like Star Fox.

And best of the bunch(not saying much there) is Nightcrawler. He can teleport around which is kinda fun. Combat is the same old boring thing though, just with teleporting.

Difficulty-10/10:

From reviews of this game I have read, it sounded like a cakewalk. Well, I don't know if it's just me, but I found it quite infuriating. I got stuck on a Wolverine level, tried it like 20 times, couldn't beat it. And that is where I give up.

Rent/Buy: neither

I am glad that I only rented this and will be glad to return it.(I only rented it because they didn't have the new Tomb Raider :D) If your curious about it then sure, go for it. Dont expect anything good though.
