UEFA Champions League 2006-2007 is a great game. Football (Soccer) is one of the greatest sports out there, it has the most teams, the most action, and the most endurance to your legs. This game depicts soccer very well and it gives real life soccer players a chance to learn some plays from just playing a game like this.

The difficulty for this game is troublesome. Sometimes the pole always gets in the way and the opposition will steal the ball when you don't expect it. In treble mode, a mode where you get to be the manager of a team you have selected, you have to go through a series of challenges. The challenges can be easy and the others can be control breaking challenges. I had to reset my Playstation 2 so many times during Treble mode. There are other game modes also including, UEFA Tournament, where you get to play as a team selected by you or you can play the UEFA Challenges mode, where you get to revert something that happened many years ago and make it into something new. If you are to lazy to do any of those you can go straight to the "Play Now" section and pick a team. There are many ways to beat your friends and family and this game. This game will keep you entertained for hours.

The sound for this game is amazing. The music is just right for a game like this and I wouldn't expect any less from this game. The commentary is great also, he will make statements that go along with the game and he will also make statements that make you think what to do next time. Sometimes he will say something about a yellow card and a red card or if a player played advantage and then you didn't get a yellow or red card. When the football is kicked you can hear the noise resonating from it. This game has gave the Playstation 2 a better name. It has graphics that can nearly top the new generation console, it has music that can top the new generation console, and it has game play that other consoles can't have.

There is no basic storyline to this game. If you play Treble mode you play a whole season with a team. Depending on which team you pick you would either have to win all the championships that come up or just one or two. You get to customize the owner of the team and you get to be that owner throughout the Treble. You go through series of challenges that go from "Avoid Defeat," to simply "Win the game." If you start to lose to many games for your team then you will be fired. After you get fired you can go back and see what you did wrong. You can make a new game and hope that something like that will not happen again. The graphics in this game are breath-taking. There are no really big glitches in the game.

The game play is great also. Sometimes you can get mad at the game because things didn't go the way you wanted it to go, but you'll get over it eventually. The game play is simple, you play as one team and you go against another team. Your main goal is to score as many goals as possible in a 90:00 time period. If you are successful you win the game, if not you lose the game. If you have a tie game then you go into overtime then you go into penalty kicks. Penalty kicks can be dangerous, since you don't know which way they are going to go. The main thing you should try to do in game though is to cross the ball. If you stay outside of the goal line the press square it will go to the middle and you can do a header into the goal. There are many ways to get a goal and there are many ways to lose a goal. Make sure you play this game with your best skill though, because your worst skill won't get you anywhere in this game.
