"No mystery that this game is great"

I bought this game today and thought I would try it out. I thought the first one, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, was a decent game but was lacking something. I loved Pokemon Diamond. I thought the new Pokemon were the best of any generation and guess what, they are on this game. I started playing this game and soon became engrossed in it. I am addicted to crawling through the dungeons battling and recruiting. I got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness and my brother got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time so that we could both get each of the versions exclusives. This game is captivating and unlike its first is almost flawless. It has what the other game lacked. It is unique, creative, and incredible in every aspect of the game.

The graphics of the game are impressive for a DS game. The sprites of each of the individual Pokemon are perfect. Everyone is an amazing replica of the Pokemon. None of them are the same but are different in unique ways. There are some nice scenes of beaches or dungeons that the artists did an amazing job on. The scenes are exactly how I imagined this game would look when I learned that they would be exploring through dungeons looking for treasure. The gameplay is almost exactly the same as the first one in this series. You take turns moving through the dungeons and attacking any Pokemon that is man enough to get in your way.

The story of the game is amazing. It is what the first one lacked. A detailed story that would captivate the players. A story that would make players want to play more to find out what happens next. The story is in depth and the characters turn out fairly deep as well. It starts out with you waking up and finding out you have no memory, and you have turned into a POKEMON!! Immediately you are thrown into a frantic chase to help out a fellow Pokemon. You and your partner have to crawl your way through a dungeon to recover a special treasure. This is just the beginning of the story. You create an exploration team with your partner and the adventure continues.

i would definitely recommend getting this if you own a DS. It is a fun and unique game that is part of one of the best series, Pokemon, to date. I hope you get this game and enjoy it as much as I have. Time to go back to crawling through the dungeons and recruiting all of my favorite Pokemon.
