Advance Wars

Review by Fireace

"What warlocked for gbc tried to do, Advance wars accomplished."

First of all let me start off by saying that your are not doing Nintendo or any other company a favor by buying this, they are doing you a favor!

Advance Wars is a rts (real time stragedy) game, but with a twist, you take turns. On games like Age of Empires, you were allowed to do anything like make a villager anytime and use it anytime. But in advance wars, you have to take turns playing, this might sond bad but it is so masterfully crafted that it comes out like a good game of chess ADVANCED (excuse the pun).

The game itself is so amazingly crafted that you wont think that its a game at all, you will take it as the real thing. I love this game, or else I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this review.

The first reason that I like this game is because there are many things to do. You can play either multiplayer or single player. You have an amazing cast of characters to choose from and there is also one other thing. You can also design your own maps and play custom campaign, theres so many things to do that you wont wanna let go of you gba and you'll cry when the battery runs out.

Another reason that I like this game is because it has one special effect: Powers. Every commanding officer has a special ability that hey can use. This comes in very handy when you are in a heap of trouble and need something to help your troops take the vistory, this is one of the reason's that makes this a must-have game.

Graphics (10/10)
The graphics of this game are utterly amazing and will takeyour breath away. You can actually see each individual bullet that comes out of your infantry mens guns. This is a great accomplishment, especially because its on a handheld system.

Sound (10/10)
The music seems to blend in with the gameplay so you barely notice that there is music at all, but when you do notice, you will notice that the music is perfectly done and fits each stage prfectly. (I especially like the menu stages music, sounds patriotic)

Gameplay (10/10)
The gameplay is utterly perfect, the curve is easy to learn and you wont have one bit of a problem adapting to use this setup. The control is very easy and you wont even notice the lack of buttons.

To Buy or to Rent? That is the question.
If you have any desire to play a good game, you will get this game. I recomend this for all ages, even kindergardeners, so buy this game, you wont regret it.

Please, for your own good, get this game, you wont regret it.
